What is an In Hand date?

In Hand date refers to the date by which you will have your tickets available to transfer (either hard stock, mobile or PDF format). Often, this refers to mobile tickets. If you do not currently have the tickets in hand and have not been provided an In Hand date, we strongly recommend listing it as 2 days prior when listing tickets in Optimal. Marketplaces may cancel orders and impose a penalty if tickets are not available on the in hand date.

When adding your inventory, use the “In Hand date” drop down and set it to “Days prior to event.” In the next field, set the number of days as “2.”
